We are motivated
by the transforming
power of Jesus
Our Mission
To provide transitional living and restore lives.
The mission of ECTLC is to give each homeless individual and family an opportunity for a healthy, meaningful life by encouraging a personal relationship with God and applying Scripture to the person's character, behaviors, and attitude, by fostering a safe and healing environment to learn and apply new tools for healthy decisions and relationships; by creating opportunities for work, service, and leadership, and to do all this with good customer service, professionalism, and open feedback as a model to all communities.
We provide services that permanently end the cycle of homelessness, one family, and one individual at a time.
We help hurting people heal through the power of Jesus, and live an abundant life with joy and purpose.
Our Vision
In Christ, transforming lives, restoring relationships, and healing communities.
Each day we are committed to sharing the gospel and meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of families and individuals.
We believe that the family is a precious creation of God and was designed by Him to be the core unit of society. A healthy family creates a healthy world. Our hope is to make our city a safer place through our vision of restoring relationships and unifying families.
Our Pillars
Customer Service is the Fruit of the Spirit applied to an organization. At ECTLC we want to treat each person well, with respect and dignity. We want to have an attitude of love, joy, peace, kindness, long suffering, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control to give all people the opportunity to rise above initial barriers to healthy living. We understand that most people have experienced trauma, leading to decisions and reactions that typically alienate them. We meet them with compassion and model better behaviors to allow for trust and growth.
Professionalism allows us to build our systems and our day-to-day operations consistent with industry standards, transparency, constant evaluation and improvement, auditing systems, and promoting outcomes. Our participants and graduates will be trained well with relationship and vocational skills to be good workers and leaders. Communities will know us by our fruits.
Open Feedback allows for anyone in the organization at all levels of infrastructure to share what is and is not working and be a catalyst for improvement. No person, even leadership, is exempt from giving or receiving feedback in an appropriate manner, speaking the truth in love. This allows for needed changes to be implemented quickly and develop a healthy organization with healthy staff modeling healthy behaviors for others.
Healthy people create healthy communities
